STUDIO

Chaotic KrafterZ was born from a group of creators united by the same appetite for fictional worlds. Before becoming a studio, many of us met through Les Créateurs de Mondes, a magazine and creative circle dedicated to imagination, storytelling and worldbuilding. That background still defines us: we build games as places to inhabit, not just systems to complete.

Our Story

Our first major project was Engraved: The Point Grounds Chronicles. It began as a modest tribute to the original Alone in the Dark, then grew into a larger gothic horror adventure with its own universe, characters and ambitions. As the project expanded, Chaotic KrafterZ naturally took shape around it.

Our Approach

Engraved received encouraging feedback from publishers, industry events and players, but the project also needed the right production conditions. We applied twice for support from the French CNC public funding program and did not receive the backing required to bring the demo to the standard we wanted. Rather than rush a project we care deeply about, we chose to build the studio step by step, with our own resources and a clearer production path.

Our Projects

We are currently working on an exciting project that pushes the boundaries of interactive storytelling. Each game will be designed to offer unique experiences, where players can truly immerse themselves in the stories we tell.

Why Chaotic KrafterZ ?

Today, we are moving forward through more accessible productions while keeping the same care for atmosphere and storytelling. Hashiko is our atmospheric survival horror action-adventure, a darker and more personal journey into a distorted vision of Japan. My Farm 2, developed with BIP Media, lets us work on a brighter, more accessible experience while proving our ability to deliver a complete game.

We are an independent studio near Montpellier, France, with strong Unreal Engine expertise, and that independence shapes the way we work. We do not hide the scale of our team: we rely on focus, persistence and craft. Every project has to earn its place, and every choice has to serve the players who will spend time in our worlds.

Engraved remains part of our future. For now, we are strengthening the studio, building trust with players and partners, and creating games with the means we have, the standards we set, and the worlds we still want to share.
