CKZ at Game Is Art in Nice on July 5-6, 2024

Last weekend, our studio had the honor of participating in the Game Is Art event, organized by Laurent Cluzel of ISART Digital Nice.

During this event, we had the opportunity to meet several influential figures in the world of video games:

  • Laurent Cluzel, director of ISART Nice, shared his impressive career with us. Having started at Titus in the late 80s, Laurent has evolved as a graphic designer, game designer, and creative director, participating in numerous iconic projects such as Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and The City of Lost Children.
  • Cédric Babouche, a renowned artist and creator, told us about his project Dordogne. This watercolor narrative game, awarded for its visual excellence, particularly impressed us with its unique aesthetic and moving story rooted in childhood memories.
  • Jordan Mechner, famous for creating the cult games Karateka and Prince of Persia, shared his revolutionary experience in the adventure game genre with his realistic animations and captivating puzzles.
  • Marc Albinet, a prolific video game designer known for his work on Assassin’s Creed Unity, impressed us with his meticulous approach to game design, emphasizing innovation and user experience quality.

Although we did not have the opportunity to present our own work, our participation in Game Is Art proved to be a valuable experience. The conferences and discussions allowed us to connect with key industry figures, exchange ideas, and enrich our creative vision.

We would like to thank Laurent Cluzel and the ISART Digital team for this opportunity and look forward to future collaborations and events.
